Who we are
Golf Genie is a golf community platform for clubs, teams and tournament organizers. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
Your name, email address, ZIP code, social handle and profile photo when you create a member card. Scores, rounds and team membership you enter. Photos, videos and posts you publish. Messages you exchange with our AI hosts. Basic usage information such as pages visited and sign-in times.
GroupMe
If a team manager connects a GroupMe group chat, we store the access key encrypted and use it only to post the messages that manager or the app's agents send on the team's behalf. We do not read private messages outside the connected group, and a manager can disconnect at any time.
AI features
Conversations with our AI hosts are processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses, and transcripts are stored so the host remembers your preferences. Don't share sensitive personal or financial information in those chats.
Payments
Payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers.
How we use it
To run your account, schedule and score tournaments, show leaderboards and feeds, send you notifications you asked for, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information.
Who can see your content
Rounds are private unless you share them with your team or post them publicly. Posts you publish are visible to other members and may be shown in club feeds. Administrators of your club can see membership and activity records.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your profile, hide or delete posts, leave a team, and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing the address below.
Children
Golf Genie is not intended for anyone under 13.
